An age of 343 to 334Ma for metamorphism and 
matrix mica growth may be interpreted to represent 
mineralisation associated with peak metamorphic 
conditions during deformation.
DEVONIAN  to  CARBONIFEROUS
Comments
Gold mineralisation is associated with dilational and fault-related quartz veins.  The deposit consists of two, parallel, northeast-trending, 
steeply dipping auriferous quartz-carbonate vein complexes cropping out as several prominant ridges.
Close to the vein system, mild silicification and sericitisation has been developed in the host rock.
