Geology
Juandah Coal Measures of Middle Jurassic age dipping gently to the
southwest. One seam of economic interest: A00 which has an
average seam thickness of 10.5m. Three possible working sections
have been identified, depending on the ash content required in the
product coal. The working sections are WS1 (4.0m), WS2 (5.0m) and
WS3 (1.0m). Some Tertiary/ ?Cretaceous cover present over the
northeast corner of the deposit.
