Geology
Resources occur in the Rangal Coal Measures of Late Permian age,
in a graben-like structurally deformed basin. Dips in the coal
measures are variable and range from 5 to 30 degrees. Two seams
are present: Leichhardt - 5.1m average thickness; Vermont - 2.8m
average thickness.
